Yeah guys, get up for some real reading skillz right now.
I'ma tell you a little (or maybe big
) story about the Sacred Number - 137.
Here goes nothing!
The Number 137
So listen, I have this number. It's 137 to be precise. It's just... Amazing. It's so good it's scary. I first started using this number way back when at Mynk. Oh, the good old times of Mynk. So, one day back in September 2008, I was playing at Bloonsworld. I see the ad for "All new helium bloons! All new rubber angles! Only at MyNinjaKiwi.com" and I wonder, maybe I'll check it out. Then, since Bloons was such a time-waster and fun game to play for me, I was playing More Bloons one day and I see this link - "Create your own levels here!" - and I think to myself, it must be Bloonsworld. I was wrong. Very wrong. What I found was what was going to keep me a computer addict for the next 10 months.
What I found was www.myninjakiwi.com .
Anyways, I decide to register. But I'm like, Crap! I don't have an e-mail account... And I register. On Yahoo. I go through all these ridiculous questions and registration rules and everything; takes me about an hour. And so, after playing on Mynk
not being registered for about three weeks, I was finally registered, making points, beating the challenges I beat when I wasn't registered, etc. My first pack was a glitched chain pack that I remember two people commented on and we became friends.
I was soooooooo excited. It was sooooooo much fun! I mean, what could go wrong ?
As you all know, my account name was TennisRockStar. I regretted my name ever since but many still remember good ol' TRS who couldn't spell, couldn't punctuate, and who was practically the nicest user on Mynk. Anyways, I based this named on my AIM account, TennisRockStar99. (Or maybe I based my AIM name on Mynk... ) Just don't try to chat with me on AIM, you can easily find me here on Fuji and one here, www.hulabalu.forumotion.com, I'm the user Bandanna (Yes, Jason [JriderT] gave me that name... it's cool.
)
And so the mayhem began.
I was busy getting up to better ranks, making more points, playing random packs all day. Until I made this pack, [
Supa Boring!]. Oh, it was just a damn test of how many plays it would get, whether or not it would make it to the most popular packs list... etc. And it sure did. It received over 2500 plays, my highest plays pack by far, but it was also the pack that I would never forget... And you know why. After that pack (I hate saying its name, brings back bad memories, y'know ?) was out for about a week and a half, I see that someone has PMed me. I check it out. It was the dreaded Jonjon1259 who messaged me. And I thought,
Okay, he's a Mod, he's not going to do anything bad, he's only going to make the site improve. I was all right until I read the PM.
"
You are being banned, and you know why."
All that struck me was like, OMG, WTF, what the hell ?! I didn't do anything wrong ! But in his point of view, I was doing the worst thing possible on Mynk: making free points packs. And look, I was a nice guy, I did
NOT do this on purpose. It was just that the new Hotcorn chain idea was popular, and I decided to give my pack's name a twist. It was very, very boring. All it was was corn, metal, and a pearl in the same spaces, every time. I begged, and begged, and pleaded - but it was all bullshit to him. I even deleted the pack! I deleted my most popular pack! He was still out to ban me.
And he swung the banhammer down upon me.
I became a newbie again, which happens when you get banned, and I could still post. So I reaped Mynk for the rest of that night. 13Harry13 even created a memorial pack, which featured the same elements of boringness in it. Now, I had to restart my life. I was banned at the imfamous rank of Immaculate Ninja, a rank that BrianE was banned at, too, and BloodyHawk on his older account.
This was the deadliest rank of Mynk.
If you reached this, you had to prove that you weren’t going to be banned. Later on, Marshazzle was banned for the same reason as me at Immaculate Ninja. (Lol, some people even started to suggest that the reason why so many people were banned was that Immaculate Ninja was the 13th rank!) Ans so I made a new account - the one most of you know me by - Banned137.
I was never the same again.
I became a cusser, a sinner, and one who could spell. I was almost always negative on other's packs. I never broke the rules again, except for reaping the site in its final days. This new account was what I was to be. I loved this account as much as I hated it.
"
Oh, the good ol' Mynk days..."
This new account name was rather simple. I put Banned in the front because, obviously, I was banned, and now for the 137 part. I joined 17 and 37 together, as they were some of my favorite numbers, and this number has lived with me ever since. It's basically like 137 is in my DNA.
It follows me around...
So this is what I wanted to get up to. Y'all knew most of what was said above. This is the part that creeps me out the most. You see, this number 137 is like everywhere I go. Let me give you a couple of examples...
- Recently, a 137 year old bank was donating money. This was on the news. Thanks for telling me, Emanl. =P
- A screenshot of my posting business...
- Spoiler:
- Every time I check the clock, the time is either 1:37 or 11:37 or something with a 37 in it.
- A while ago, I logged out at 1:37 PM in the chat..
- I was the first to notice at one point when there were 137 users on this site
- Etc.
It's... Cool and creepy.
*On another note, I never had good relations with Jon again. He even banned my Banned137 account for being annoying. His definition of annoying...
Me posting on his pack "A Book". It's like, wtf ?
I also created the reaper account Bitchinbucks, and my final account, XX L33T Noob Xx, basing it on Noble's xXNoobXx.
I should be on Oprah for this, no ?
And if you read this, all of this, I'm pressing the "Thanks" button for you. I'm a nice guy. :)
Hope y'all enjoyed it.
