WINDOWS 7

Alright, recently doing the xp Vs. Vista Vs. 7 review, I will now go into a more great detail on Windows 7.

I, honestly, can say that I LOVE Windows 7, runs fast, not as heavyweight as Vista, and has many great features, including fast search, better programs (Notepad looking similar to word, Paint looking similar to GIMP.) I practicaly think of it as xp with added features. Heres why:

• Heavyweight, but not too much
  
• Not very many problems
  
• Fast, even with viruses
  
• Upgraded programs
  
• More features
  
• Quick search
  
• Optimal downloads at first bootup
  
• And More!
  

The non-really-heavyweightness makes it like xp, then the upgraded programs, features, optimal downloads, and quick search make it better than xp. It's a one-of-a-kind OS.

Windows 7 on a computer can make the computer reletivly more expensive, if you get one with xp, then win. 7 itself is expensive. I, will say, it's worth it for the most.

Even though Windows 7 is great, just like any computer operating system, theres always gonna be some cons. Main cons refer on how hard it can be to get through it. Also, the UAC (user account control) pops up way too much, and I haven't found anything to get rid of it. Ways of getting through being hard can be because most people are used to Vista or xp, which are a lot easier to get through. It's mostly the added programs and extra features.

I'll cut to the chase, Windows 7 is great, a lot of great things, a few bad ones, it's pretty well.

I didn't, my aunt got a new computer that had 7 on it, and I use it every week.

Just curious how you know that it runs fast with viruses.

She had some old virus thing from her windows xp old comp she had before buying her new one (her being my aunt)

I purpopsly put a virus on there, then used her old cleaner to get rid of it.

I downloaded some type of warez music I think.

You virused your aunt's PC?

I cleaned it too. She let me anyways.

Lol. What if it didnt go away? Youd be screwed.

She had like...just gotten the computer. She could've restored it.

Windows 7 is a piece of crap, even Vista is better than 7, Microsoft is only going to get worse, and Macintosh is only going to overpower it until it's gone

fail fail fail.
CL, Windows 7 is vista with features and crap added. the only thing thats different is that theres a better, more powerful circuit board on it, which gives it more RAM and makes it faster. It's still heavyweight, has the exact programs, some are just upgraded.
FAIL.

Not true. On my school's computers, its actually slower. All of the fancy graphics and features slowed it down to the point that they had to get rid of it and go back to Vista.

That's because 7 is heavyweight. Vista is too, but is fit for weak computers.

I don't really think a schools computer would be strong enough for 7...

I go to a private school. The computers there are stronger than most of computers ive seen. They have the money for good computers, lol.
