When the iPad was first released I have to admit I was excited about it. But now I've realized what everyone has said is true, this thing is an iPod on steroids. It's probably the biggest let-down of Apple history, maybe in the history of production. First of all, what kind of name is iPad ? If you don't want everyone thinking this is not just another version of the iPhone, come up with an original name. They're trying to pass this basically as a computer. That's ridiculous. What kind of computer has no flash player, and no USB port ? Steve Jobs, one of the main people of Apple, had stated that they wanted to make the price affordable, so it would be available to everyone. They're selling it for 500 dollars. That's a joke. If you're willing to spend a half a thousand dollars on an oversized iPod expecting a computer, stick with the computer itself. People call it the iPhone on steroids, but I don't completely agree. The iPhone is better. At least the iPhone has a camera, and you can carry it around. But there are in fact some great things about the iPad. You can go on YouTube and watch videos with HD quality which is a nice feature. It also has that whole deal that you can buy books on it. But seriously, if you want this option, spend your money on the Kindle. The iPad also has much more apps then the iPhone, but I say big deal. I can't find more then five differences at the most from the iPad and the iPhone.

Its not just a bigger iPhone. It has TV and downloadable books among other things.
Its a combination of things, not just a bigger iPhone. |
