| I remember in one of the books in those series, you could comprehend the size of the universe by looking at a piece of cake. Or it was something like that, i don't remember it too well... |

| Universe
Creation: There is such a large amount of theories for the creation of the Universe. It's basically imposible for the correct theory to be determined. So, I will focus on the more accurate-sounding solutions. Of course, I'll start with the Big Bang Theory, as it's the most popular. The theory states that the universe was created approximately 13.7 billion years ago. How was it created? Well, believers in this paticular approach to the question agree that a black hole was formed, and from that, the Universe came about when it continuously expanded. It's expanding is apparently never-ending, which is why the Universe never ends. There is evidence to support this, and if you'd like to learn of them, click here. The next theory I will discuss, is the Biblical perspective. This belief is common, as there are many Christians in the world. This theory states that God created the entire Universe in only seven days. Believers in this believe that this only took place 6000 years ago. This is a commonly disputed theory, with the large amount of athiests. My personal belief belongs in the Big Bang Theory. Simply because that show is awesome. As I've stated, there's a numerous amount of theories on the subject, and I cannot possibly state them all. For example, the Protouniverse, the Intelligent Design, the Mayan's belief on it, etc. To learn more of them, do some research. Google is your friend. Holdings: Similar to the amount of theories of it's creation, there is an extremely large amount of things in the Universe. The number one thing is of course, stars. There are many types of stars, including Hypervelocity, Protostars, Red Giants, White Dwarfs, and obviously many more. A very stupid thing about stars, is that many people purchase them. They can't visit them of course, they just have the right to say "I own that star." Another well known object out there is black holes. Black holes are very odd concepts. Once you're within a black hole's gravitational pull, you cannot get out. Absolutely nothing can. They can get up to 20 times heavier than the sun, which is why they hold so much energy that nothing can get away from. In my opinion, they're the most interesting thing in Outer Space. Aside from objects out in Space, there are forces and creatures out there as well. The force I'm talking about, is gravity. Those of you who aren't too smart, I'll describe gravity in a quick summary. Without it, you'd be flying all over the place. It's what hold you to the ground, because it pulls you towards the center of the earth. Creatures in space are something you don't find often. There are very few places in space capible to hold life. Some of the only known life in the Universe is held on Mars, and the Earth. The Earth? I know, some things in reviews are shocking. Aliens & UFOs: There are some polls that say 90% of the world's population believes in Aliens and/or UFOs. UFO standing for unidentified flying objects. Most of these believers came to believe in these things through the incident in Roswell, New Mexico, which occurred in 1947. When a random flying disc was recovered, the media went crazy, wanting to find out more. But a General of the Air Force stated that it was simply a radar-tracking balloon. That was the last heard of the incident for quite a while. But then, 30 years later, a physicist who'd studied UFOs interviewed one of the majors who had been involved in the recovery. He told the physicist that the government covered up the crash, because they didn't want the public to go absolutely crazy, as anarchy may have been formed. As more witnesses began to form, the media had once again when nuts for aliens. There is much more evidence to support the belief that aliens do in fact exist. In my personal opinion, I do believe they exist. It's not very hard to believe if you think about it. The Universe is such a large place. Wouldn't we be selfish to believe we're the only ones throughout it? Overall, the Universe is such an interesting concept. Which is why is deserves five out of five stars as a rating. | The Universe Review [Whatif] The beginning: - Spoiler:
There is as much theories as to how the universe started as there are stars in the universe itself. So i will formally stick to the most popular one, The Big Bang. Scientists approximate that a small ball of hydrogen some 13.7 billion years ago had overfilled and exploded, releasing everything we know and love in the universe. A sub theory of this is that quarks and electrons, after the Big Bang, started forming together to make more complex structures. So in a way, everything is made of the same stuff.
Theories: - Spoiler:
There are three basic theories as to what the universe functions like. Those three theories are known as contraction, expansion and limit. The contraction theory argues that space goes on for a certain length and then when it reaches a certain limit, begins to contract on itself. The expansion theory argues that space is just an ever expanding mass that knows no limits. The limits theory argues that space reaches a certain point and simply stops there. These three theories are simply just that, for no man or woman on earth knows exactly how large space is and it's behaviour.
Dimensions - Spoiler:
With space comes several dimensions. Humans can experience four of them. The first dimension is a straight and never ending line. The second dimension is a flat interpretation of a third dimension. A third dimension contains volume and depth. The fourth dimension is when an unknown can be two things at the same time. This dimension is a bit harder to grasp but can be proved in an example. When you throw a coin up in the air and catch it with you're hand and put it down on you're wrist nobody is aware of the orientation of the coin, whether it be heads or tails. Since there is no way to prove what it is without looking at it, it's considered to be both heads and tails at the same time.
Mystery - Spoiler:
The mystery of space is never ending. For instance it is absolutely plausible that in our infinitely large universe there will be another race of mobile organisms. This seems hard to wrap around you're head because the universe within itself is infinite and the thought of another life is just a great thought. Another awe of space is the time paradox. When you are looking at a star, you are quite literally looking back in time. This is because the stars are so far away, that the light takes time to travel to the Earth. So in reality you can be looking at a star that might already be burnt out. Another fun fact is that if the sun suddenly burnt out, we would not know until 8.5 minutes, because that is how long it takes the light from the sun to travel to Earth.
