The Simpsons Game is an action platform game based on the infamous Simpsons series. It was released worldwide on November 2007 and since then has sold over four million copies worldwide. The game is available for almost all gaming platform system including, DS, Wii, PSP, PlayStation 2, Playstation 3 and the XBOX 360. The game contains the Simpsons Family as playable characters that include Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson. Although the game was rather popular the criticism of the game was topsy turvy. It was commended on being a very fun game with an interesting plot and humorous story line. On the other hand, it upset some people because the game itself was too short and the camera system had malfunctions.

Although the game is a tad bit too short it lives up to it's ever popular light humor and in it's self pokes fun of popular culture, EA games (it's producer) and other video games. The point of the game is for the Simpsons Family, who have been given super powers to pass through 16 level (episodes) in search of 8-bit predecessors which have been stolen by Will Wright who is the villain in the game. I myself have never had the game or played it but after doing some research it seems as though if you play the game actively you can finish it within two days time. This may seem like a bummer, but when compared to the prices it runs for, it's definitely worth it. It runs for 20 dollars on the PSP, PS3, WII and 360 if not used and around 10-15 dollars for the DS depending on the store you purchase it at. If you are looking to get this game used, you would not find anything that costs more than 15 dollars. So in conclusion, the great story line and hilarious plot with the short cost and the forty million plus copies sold compared to the short game time and off camera, it deserves it's five stars.
