| Linkin Park
Members: Linkin Park consists of mainly five people. On the vocals, there's Chester Bennigton. Assisting him with the vocals, and on the guitar and keyboard, is Mike Shinoda. With the turntables is Joe Hahn. Brad Delson plays the guitar, Rob Bourdon plays the drums, and Dave Farrell is on the bass. Bennington isn't only the vocalist, he also writes the lyrics to most, if not all, of the band's songs. With the first released album of Linkin Park, Bennigton was an immediate hit. Around five years ago, he formed his own band entitled Dead by Sunrise, which also rose his reputation. However Linkin Park and Dead by Sunrise weren't the only bands he was in. His success cause him to be recruited by others which is why he is currently the producer of the band entitled Julien-K. Aside from these bands, he was also in Grey Daze on the guitar, and of course, vocals. The man who I'd say is second in command, Mike Shinoda, is Japanese, and is also known for his songwriting and rapping. He also had a side project similar to Bennigton's, known as Fort Minor. His only other well known quality is his production of musical art & paintings. Joe Hahn is the man on the turntables. Literally, he's the man. Another multi-cultural artist, he is Korean. Joe goes by his stage name, Mr. Hahn. Hahn was the first Korean American to obtain a Grammy, when Linkin Park won it for the best hard rock performance. Aside from this, he has no special qualities. Brad Delson is next, and he's quite known. He is the A&R Representative for Machine Shop Recordings, a Warner Brothers imprint label, and he assists the organization of Music for Relief. Rob Bourdon is another Linkin Park member, although he is not even close to the reputation of the others. The final member, Dave Farrell, is more commonly referred to as Phoenix. Playing anything with strings on it, he's a beast on the guitar, cello, and violin.
History: The band was first formed when Mike Shinoda & Brad Delson first recorded in 1996. They then found the drummer, Rob Bourdon, and he was added to the band. These three are pretty tight, as they went to high school together. While studying in Pasadena, Shinoda found the man the now call their DJ, Mr. Hahn. Once the four were together, they knew they needed a name. They claimed the name Xero and got to recording. Xero knew they needed a professional vocalist, which is when Bennington came in the picture through auditions, and pretty much took over. To prove this, he changed the band's name to Hybrid Theory, which was later declared their first album name. Still not signed, they created a website entitle linkinpark.com and hoped to be discovered. Surely enough, they were discovered, and the name was, at that point, changed to Linkin Park. In 2000, the first album, Hybrid Theory, was created. Two years later, after touring, they released their next album entitled Reanimation. One year after the creation of Reanimation, they then released Meteora, which banked four million dollars in the US alone. Other albums include Live in Texas, LP Underground v3.0 & v4.0, and Collision Course which was released in 2004. Today, Linkin Park is obviously still touring, and is still one of the most popular bands in various countries throughout the world.

| That's happened to me at least half the times I review. I've learned to copy my work as I go so I don't lose it if that happens. Is this alright to archive Tim? |
