Hi everyone. I was waiting until today to make this topic. On 4/20 me and my friends went in an alley way to smoke and some guy called the cops on us. I had the bud on me and was charged with trespassing, possession and public burning. I got arrested and my three friends got juvy reports. Last Thursday i went to family court and the lady made the case for me after asking a bunch of questions of my family. Today i went again and i got off REALLY easy. I am under 16 and this was my first arrest, so all i have to do is go to the probation office once a week for eight weeks on wednesday. I just gotta stick the appointments and stay in school(which i do anyway, i have good grades). So in six months, case closed. School never finds out and transcript doesn't show it.

These nine days have felt like a month in my eyes

Are you on formal or informal probation?

informal. They check up on my school work, and i have to go their once a week for that "New Direction" program.

I had informal too, but i didn't have to go every week.

So i'm guessing it's formal. I don't know what you meant by those. By case didn't make it to family court though.

So the program started yesterday. I'm missing next wed. and then i only have 8 wed. to go to. It's gonna end the fourteenth of july. five days after birthday

You going to smoke again? It's your choice but I rather not have my best <3 be arrested by doing a dumb thing.

Probably not, unless i'm sure i'm safe.

Hate to say it, but that's why everyone who smokes pot is a dumbass. PLain and simple. Don't take that the wrong way Whatif, Cy and anyone else who smokes, but it is the truth.

if you would like to, have it over PMs, not here. and Whatif, you should be on your knees in happiness that this isn't going on your transcript and hopefully you'll learn from this before it does.

Lucky you got off easily. I know a few people who didn't get off quite as easily as you.

I agree with you. Although I think they should legalize it, or make cigarettes also illegal.

Juvy isnt that bad.

Still, it will make it harder for you to get a job.

The case won't be on any transcript. It closes after 6 months and is gone when i hit 18.
