| This is a list of some of the bands that i listen to that are categorized in the metal/alternative genre. And NO, I'm not talking about deathcore, black metal, etc. (even though I do listen to those genres) I'm talking about just metal.

Listen to Grunge; Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees, etc. |

Actually, Three Days Grace and Creed are both post-grunge. Papa Roach is Alternative Rock/ Metal so is Paramore, although it also practices the genres Emo and Pop Punk. 30 Seconds to Mars is a Hard Rock/ Emo/ Progressive Metal band. And Flyleaf is Nu-metal or Hard Rock. Most of them also practice Alternative (Rock), you see. |
