Wtf. How could you not like the Flobots. I understand if you don't appreciate rap/hip hop, but you seriously need to analyze their lyrics before you go talking shit.

I don't like a lot of rap. Actually, I've come to realize some of it isn't as annoying as I used to think. But the Flobots, and especially that handlebars song, it just gets on my nerves, I don't know why.

Those of you who don't like the Flobots, pay attention kiddies. Every single one of their songs have a meaning that's completely amazing, and really speaks to the listener if your head isn't far enough up your ass to understand. I'll give you one example, because if I explained every one of their songs, I'd be here all night. Look at the song Handlebars posted above. No, don't look at it. Actually listen to it. Try to hear what's being said. Not sure if you'll get it, but here's the explaination. The story is of two friends who end up taking seperate path. The first verse is about the first friend, who goes on to live his own life, as a free citizen. If you'll listen, you'll hear that his life is great. Then the next verse is of the second friend, who goes on to take the corporate path. He starts out innocent, as a good guy, but turns out as a corrupt corporate man. The meaning is that corporations are taking innocent good guys, and turning them corrupt. To put this message in a song the way the Flobots did, is amazing. All of their lyrics are amazing, and you need to respect the way they think. If you don't, whatever, that's you. Thanks for reading..

My friend about SOAD's lyrics:

Yes, the lyrics are amazing, no matter the context, be it philosophical, self reflecting, political, or even sarcastic humour.
