Well, Gimp crashed on my computer and wouldnt work. So, I re-downloaded Gimp and copied over all of my brushes, patterns, gradients, and scripts to the new Gimp folders, but they wont show up! I just remade my scanlines patterns, but they wont save as patterns either. I need help! I need my brushes and patterns and gradients for my graphics!

Oh, and I still have my fonts because Font Book on a Mac like mine saves them.

Anyone? Please!

Don't use gimppp, but nov may have a solution. Have you triedd pressing the refresh thing in your brush windoww? They should then show up if they're in the folder and everythingg.

Which folder are you saving them in?

I have a Mac btw.
I go to Finder->Applications->Gimp and then right click and choose Show Package Contents. I then go to Contents->Resources->Share->gimp->2.0->brushes.

I know thats the correct folder because it worked before Gimp went all haywire...

Do you have the lastest GIMP? If not, Update! That might help.

I have Gimp 2.6.8 which I think is the latest for a Mac.

2.6.9 is just been released...

But does it have a version for the Mac?

Honestly, You are pretty screwed ... Your best bet is to totally un-install everything all your brushes and such but make a note of where they all came from. Then after you deleted everything you should go back to the websites where you got the gradients and brushes and whatever and re download them over again. Copying and pasting isn't the same as downloading and thats probably why its not working. Either that or you have a corrupted file D:... Hope this help... And Gimp is a beast! Photoshops is just better...... Ahh i forgot how to make small text.... just pretend the "photoshop is just better" is small....

Alright, thanks for trying. Glad to see you back again. I think im at the point where I need to try that, the problem is that I forgot where I got most of my brushes.
