Anyway. I've got this friend. She's suffering clinical depression, but that's not the point. She's one of those forms of masochistic jerks who one-up on peoples miseries. I whine that my biology teacher is up my back all the time? She rants that she's been sacked from her job for calling in sick, been kicked out of her home, and has to pay for her mother's $6K bi-monthly medication. I personally do not believe a word of this, as she has had a history of telling porky pies, such as flying to London on Friday night and arriving back in Sydney on Saturday night. I caught her out on this because I know that a flight to London is at least 25 hours from Sydney, even when she tried to cover her lie by claiming she was on a jet. Firstly, jets are not available for public passenger use. Secondly even if they were, they would only take half the time off, which is hardly enough time to spend a substantial amount of time in London before flying back, supposedly, on the same night.

Anyone else know a compulsive liar?

I live with a person who blames me for everything, when i didn't do it.

Not the same as lying compulsively. Who blames someone for EVERYTHING anyway? I hate it when people do that.

My friend is a complete liar.

1. Lies that he's sick when it's a school day and he's playing on the comp. all day long
2. Can't come over my house and play chess or something because he'splaying on the comp.
3. HE SAID HIS MOM WAS PREGNANT AND SHE COULDN'T PICK US UP (it was actually that she had food poisoning >_>)
4. He wasn't on the last day of school on the 9th grade because he didn't feel so well. I knew straight that he was lying and was going to play on the comp.

Yes, I have a friend who has problems like yours does, and lies so much it gets annoying. I don't even know when to believe him anymore. The other day he tried telling me that this kid who went to his old school was calling him with death threats, and used fake caller ID to call on numbers of his close friends. How the f*** did he get those numbers anyways? "I don't know, he just did!!" Yeah, right.

He has a huge history of lying too. He tried to convince me that he was born in Washington D.C. to make himself seem cooler in elementary school

That's probably an OCD problem. Anything really bad happen in her life that could have triggered it?

I don't know any compulsive liars.

I have a friend that missed a third of the school-year by pretending to be sick. Lol. But half of it is his mom's fault, because shes too nice.

Yes. When I complain, they say that my life is soooooooo much better than theirs and also they tell the same story over and over again.
