Alright, heres the ultimate music discussion! All music lovers, come here! Who is te best band/ group/ singer ever?!?

I say the Beatles because they popularized soft rock and were pioneers in the music industry. They single-handedly began rock that actually attrcacted fans. They were the first Stadium Rock and led to other bands. Also, the Beatles had such a variety of music untouched by any other bands ever. There were slow songs, fast songs, songs all about the lyrics, songs all about the melody, songs with multiple melodies, etc. They are the best band ever.

but, my favorite band is between Guns n' Roses and Van Halen

i dont know what my fav is but i what i do know is is that linkin park is WAY BETTER than the beatles

YEM, i disagree. Hybrid Theory was one good song. Minutes to Midnight was a better album with a few good songs. Otherwise, Linkin Park has no good songs. They have a maximum of about 5 including ones on those two albums.

The Beatles, however, have over 10 recognizable albums and I can name over 50 songs. My dad has all 200 something of them. Its amazing! They have so many great, memorable songs. They truly are the greatest band ever.

Just because it's a hit doesn't mean it's good (ahem, "Nothing Else Matters" was underrated).
