| yeah, it took my like 6 trys to try to get it to match with the background for the original theme, i can only see the corners if i look at it at an angle. |

Why don't you go up to one of your parents and show them what it is and some of the things you can do with it, and tell them that it is 100% safe if you download it from gimp.org, and then tell them that it takes up very little space on your computer. If they say no to that, they are just being a little unreasonable. What is the worst they could say?, no? |

| you could print take a screenie of fuji then Ctrl+V and use the tool that copys the color where u click then do that in the corners |

He could do that, but with the theme changer, the colors do not appear the same color for everyone, so if he adds a gray background, than the people who have the really dark theme, will see the light gray. |

Agreed, GIMP helps people start graphic designing. And maybe if they say yes and give you a chance, they'll build trust in you. True.
