It Was Only a Matter of Time

Syfte and I (mostly Syfte) have been working on a brand new forum for some time now. Almost 3 months of construction. This forum features the best of our experiences in the world of foruming.

Our new forum has uniquely engineered services, world based general discussions with some old features still around, a sleek design and articles written about new pieces of upcoming and developing technology from our staff members. This is all done while retaining simplicity.

Release is set to December 22nd. We invite you guys to join and have some fun with us, there is always room for 2 great forums!

That's all fine and dandy, but I prefer to keep Fuji going at this point. I'm barely maintaining time for this, let alone another forum.

Well, seeing your friends there means that they take away time from other forums. I for one cannot feasibly be active on both here and there. It's just not possible, and I think my situation is much the same for most of everyone else.

My point is it's hard to not join another forum when it's created by someone else you know. I know you guys don't have any bad intentions, but I'm not sure you realize the kind of impact this could have on Fuji.

Are you all getting mad about this taking attention away from Fuji because you are concerned about the forum or because you all know your going to abandon it if this forum gets more interesting?

I'm not getting mad, I'm just worried about the potential impact this could have on Fuji. If it's positive, I'll be eating my worries, but I'm not 100% convinced people aren't going to run from here. I for one will not abandon this forum. If you all want to jump ship, fine by me. I can't control your decisions, nor will I try to. I'll just say that I'll be greatly disappointed if everyone leaves all the work we've done here. That's all I'll say right now.
