What the complete fuck? Doesn't Zuckerberg have better things to do?

The article states that unlike other websites/companies coining "Book" that have nothing to do with Facebook and have been charged for copyright, Lamebook is simply a satirical website related to facebook, showcasing everyday fails. Kinda like Failbook.

Failbook and Lamebook serve the same purpose. Shouldn't they be at each other's throats instead?

Copyright laws have gotten so out of hand.

We had to have this whole bullshit lesson on plagiarism. At least it got us out of 3 days of English class.

We had something like that, we called it an "All My Own Work" program. Something to help us understand copyright and plagiarism, and the consequences of it, and we had to pass a test (a series of tests, rather) on this course to continue on to year 11. lol.


Anyway, I think Facebook needs to get off it's fucking high horse. It brings in millions of dollars, and Zuckerberg's own net worth is in the millions. Haven't they got enough money already?

He's actually got $6.9 billion, not million.

That's the point I'm making with this thread. If they're going to attack Lamebook, they're in for a bit of crap. Lamebook and Failbook are recognised allies, although they aren't linked. Failbook is attached to the Cheezburger network.

I assume that if Facebook tries to make a move on Lamebook, Failbook will jump in, and since Failbook is linked to The Cheezburger network there will either be a stalemate or Facebook will lose.

Perhaps. Somebody needs to give the Facebook people a reality check. Who has more money? Facebook. Whose net worth is in the billions? Zuckerberg's. Who had no intention of copyright and is actually somewhat related to Facebook? Lamebook.

Who has no money and relies on donations from its users to help win the legal battle? Lamebook.

Who will crash and burn if the court orders a major URL and domain name change? Lamebook.
