Nice. 5.2 mill for me. Best score I know of personally is 7.1 million, and I saw it happen. Trying to get to that number is my personal goal.

to get all the achievements you need to have over a 10mill highscore, thats waht im going for

Same here, after I hit 7.1 mill. It's basically a competition between myself and this girl. She basically discovered Temple Run for our school, therefore she's had the de facto high score for a while. Then everyone else discovered it and now almost everyone plays it regularly. But we're the only ones that play it routinely enough to get most of the achievements and therefore look at another kid who scores a million and thinks it's awesome and say "Pfft, below average."

Never played it or heard of it but my friend says it's stupid

That's his opinion, almost everyone I know plays it.

downloaded it last night... 500,000 top score

Cracked 6 million and got the 1 million w/o powerups objective. Last one to get is the 10 million one.

I play this game nonstop and the highest score I can get is like 600,000 and thats at my best how the hell do you people get millions?

Here's what I did in order:

1. Fully upgrade all the bonuses in the shop with your coins. Go for as many coins as possible while playing (don't worry about the score as much).
2. The most important upgrade is coin values. Second most important is coin magnet. Third is mega coin, 4th is invisibility, 5th is boost.
3. When you have all of these upgraded, play as normal until you have enough money to buy either 2 new characters (They run 10,000 then 25,000 each, expensive) or three wallpapers (5,000 each, a little better). Get all six characters and all three wallpapers for 4 more multipliers. By this point if you haven't had a score in the million-3 million range, this just isn't your game.
4. The main thing I can tell you is go for the objectives. That's the key. Each one is 1x added to the multiplier. 35x is a lot better than 30x. Hell, 31x is a lot better than 30x.
5. After you get most of the objectives, just work on your reaction time. There's two apps that can help called Cube Runner and Line Runner. Both are games, but they're a lot simpler than Temple Run. Use them to improve your reaction time.

All I can say then is good luck. It took me 400+ games to get to 6 million. I'm at 502 right now.

OMGOSH stop showing off... some people have only gotten to 800,000 :p

Still haven't been able to get past 6 million. Couple of games in the 3-4 million range, but nothing close to even 5.

There are people in the billions because of a glitch.

^ Lol I remember the disappointment at a very young age of the highest scores of this spongebob game I played. A couple thousand was a good score for me. The best scores topped 20 digit numbers. Glitch anyone?
