The two 'white' schools were evacuated an hour ago, people are threatening to burn our school which will be 140 years this May. Lots of farmers came with their guns surrounding the school and hostel. Shops are closed, town has never been this quiet, but yet it's busy as hell.

They're rioting about two things:
1. They say they don't have services
2. There are two main parties in this country(There are more). This town's municipality belongs to the smaller party the DA, which opposes the ANC. The one region in town is blaming the DA for not helping them since they vote for the ANC. That's their logic. My logic: This/last year was the first year that the DA had this town. The ANC had this town since after 1994, and they still have the same problems as back then. So, now they're blaming the DA and not the ANC for their problems.

Had a bomb threat in my old highschool, several knives pulled, and two people electrocuted to death.

Then I swapped into a nicer school.

Worst we see here is drugs after school and the occasional fist fight.

For a white school we had a surprising amount of fights last year. Funny stuff.
