Yep i need new bands to listen to i have over 4000 songs in my itunes about 100 - 200 bands and i must have listened to them all a few times now so i need new ones so anyone know any good bands for me?

really gothic metal and bands like slipknot rock is kinda like linkin park, fit for rivals and lost prophets

Ehh, I think you're looking for nu metal. I'm gonna suggest some bands that I don't like myself, but:
try some Limp Bizkit, POD, Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Faith No More.
I don't know, those are all similar to Slipknot/Linkin Park.

Also try bands I do like, such as Fugazi, Holograms, Dead Kennedys, Agalloch, Mudhoney, Green River, Mastodon, maybe even some Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, etc.? I don't really know what you're into.

all of these are great, except I don't really like Limp Bizkit. If you're into Nu-Metal, listen to Sevendust, Adema, Deftones, RATM, Snot, and Spineshank as well.

In addition to Niels' second list of bands, try some Smashing Pumpkins or Pavement.
