dunno if there's a thread for this but were any of you guys affected?
I live in brooklyn crooklyn right next to the beach so my area got hit pretty bad, although the flooding didn't go up to my house it destroyed my aunts basement and flooded my grandparent's apartment building.

We lost power for a day and a half but otherwise were unharmed. Missed two days of school

I was hit. We have a waterfront and it came up to the doors but we had sandbags laid out. Didn't lose power or get our house flooded.
