We all know where we're going by now. Where are you going, how much money did you get, how are you paying, what's your major, etc.

Going to Salisbury University
Got 5000 per year out of 7600
Parents are paying for the first year, after which I'm going to start smoking again so I'll have to get loans for the following 3 years
Majoring in teaching, don't know about a minor yet

So you are literally paying over 20,000 dollars plus the cost of cigarettes over the next 4 years to smoke...

Did you miss the part where I got 5000 out of 7600 in scholarships? I'll be paying 7800, and it's not for cigarettes, it's for weed. And it's really not even about the weed, it's about the fact that my parents don't accept me for who I am and it's time for me to move on from that fact

sure you already know this but here are the specs...

Going to Vanderbilt, room and board is 60k a year (yeah i know). I get a little financial aid from national merit, and vandy pitches in a bit more for it totalling 2.5k a year (yeah i know). My grandfather made a crapton of money by selling a business and being the good guy he is put most of it in a trust fund for his grandkids' college tuitions. Once I went to college i started respecting my grandparents so much more.

Computer engineering major and Spanish minor. Just finished my second year and my GPA is 3.964

I don't know where i'm going to college yet, but I want to major in psychology.

University of Rochester, hopefully majoring in some kind of engineering. Got 16 grand a year from some kind of scholarship, I'm paying ~40k for my 1st year (that should drop for the other years though). Rochester is cold though, and apparently "lake effect" is a weatherman's term for "ha ha, fuck you"

My parents have saved their asses off since before I was born, pretty much just for college (example: my mom's car is older than I am), so we hopefully won't have to take out any loans...plus the cost should go down after freshman year, since we'll have fewer assets, so more financial aid.

Don't know where I'm going yet but I got screwed financially by my sister. Basically we can't borrow any more loans and my dad had to use a huge portion of his savings to pay for her last two years.

Probably Leiden, majoring in History. Haven't decided yet though.

Sounds fun!

I want to study languages along with engineering, not sure if I want French (which I'm decent at already) or German or Italian or...I'll do anything really. I was the only guy in AP French this year, that class was awful but I still like the language somehow.

If you want to do mechanical engineering then I highly recommend German. Because they're huge on that field of engineering and you could study abroad there while studying engineering at the same time. I'm engineering and Spanish and unfortunately the opportunities to study engineering in a spanish speaking country are very limited.

Wasn't me, I was thinking German actually. There's a couple German kids I know now (one of which is completely insane), and the language seems interesting if scary sometimes.
