Will anyone delete their forum accounts when they get older? I say this because some jobs look into everything you have done in the past.

Actually, yes. They all snoop around. And Facebook is not excluded. After i get into an occupational phase, i'm going to delete more current facebook and create a new email address, so there will be nothing to find that can endager a potential job.

And if somebody is planning to be a big hot shot then any email you ever had will be found. trust me lol.

Well, personally I have nothing to hide. lol. Even if my casual email address is found and Fuji is discovered, there's nothing bad here. :3

Guys, you don't understand. Employers look EVERYWHERE. Facebook? Check. Myspace? Check. Email? Check. Fuji? Check. Photobucket? Check.

EVERYWHERE.

As a result, if anyone wants me to delete their account if they leave, I'd be willing to do so. Aloe, you may not think your outbursts of times past were that bad, but a potential employer will look at that and say, "damn, this girl has a temper...". It may knock you out of candidacy for a job OR get fired from a job you already have.

Exactly. Every company does a background check. I'm not saying you should delete your account. But if something has happened on this forums that you don't think your employers would be proud of, you need to let it go or let them go, lol.

So, when you delete your account, do your posts delete also? Because there are some posts on here where I've said my name, and if I google my name, this site comes up a few times.. the posts were deleted but Fuji still comes up. I really want this to go away somehow, but I don't know what to do.

If you delete your account, your posts change to saying it was posted by a guest.
