| Main Review: - Spoiler:
Windows is a line of operating computers that had been runing since 2001, Mainly used for personal computers for Businessess and home use. Windows XP was the successor of Windows 2000. The two main additions were Windows XP Home Edition obviously of home use while Window XP Professional was used for businessess. And for cheaper Countries there was Windows XP Starter Edition which is a cheaper version of Professional and Home Editions. And also a third version called Windows XP Media and had a yearly update until 2006.
Pros: - Spoiler:
Faster start up and hiberation sequences, Support for most DSL Modems as well as Fireware and Buletooth. Fast Switcher Typing, which allows a user to save the information and open appliction and let a another go on without losing any imformation.
Cons - Spoiler:
Windows XP had Security Problems with issues including worms, trojan houses and other viruses. The default (Luna) adds virtual clutter making less space and a slower speed.
Overall: - Spoiler:
The windows XP was an pretty good computer system to have from 2001-2007, in it's lifetime it sold over 400 million copies. Which making it the largest selling computer system ever however if you still want Windows XP, The Service pack 2 is still selling until 13 July 2010.

| WINDOWS XP Windows xp...and we need cons. Do you want the world to explode?!? Well...In my opionion, Windows xp is the best Windows to me. Most would say 7 is best, but...I know tons of xp users who wouldn't be fond of a Windows 7 Upgrade...knowing it also costs a good 110 bucks for the WORST one. Windows xp is more easier to find things, it has a Start Menu with alot of Quick Tools that you would have to search for on Vista and 7. Including: Run, Control Panel, and others. There are a few cons of this Operation System, as I hate to say. With just 1 Trojan or maybe a few regular Viruses, the computer will be veryyyyyy slow. As for Vista, my Dad's computer has 2 Trojans and 8 Viruses on it and it still runs faster than xp with just a few Viruses. As for 7, this problem is similar, so that doesn't need to be worried about. As for Security, the security is GREAT! With xp Professional, you can actually choose if you wanna use regular internet or Dial Up. You can also choose what ports you want to connect too. And if you already have xp, xp Professional costs less than 25 bucks! The port hookup helps so that just incase someone is hacking your 1 port to get into your computer, you can choose which port you want so it is safe! I've used Vista for a longg time, and xp is still alott better. So...it looks like you may want to get xp XD. I'll end the review here. But...long story short, xp rocks! |

| -=-=-=- Windows XP Main Review: Windows XP is the 3rd product in line of Windows, following Windows 2000 Professional. This operating system was released in 2001. Over 400 million copies were in use of January 2006. Many find this system very reliable and easy to use, as well as being to the point. The control panel, for instance, can be reached throughout the Start button directly, as you have to find it in Windows Vista and other models. Many regard this as their favorite computer operating system, as with "new updates" it becomes even easier to use. Pros: As I said before, Windows XP is very reliable and easy to use, arguably being "user-friendly". The updated features of this from the 2000 model is that it starts up faster and can go into hibernate mode faster. (Hibernate is when you put the computer in a state that saves power; it seems to be turned off but it saves all of your programs and turns the screen off. ) Windows XP also has a faster user switching method, which allows people to keep their current state while switching users and logging on to a different account. Finally, XP has support for most DSL modems. Cons: Security issues are basically the main problem of Windows XP. Many blame it on the fact that when the computer is first used, the user ( by default ) has an administrative account. When hacked, this can completely destroy your PC. Windows XP is largely prone to many viruses, malware, and trojans. I personally also think that this system usually runs slower than most other models. And with a virus, it runs even slower. Users here on Fuji, mostly being Jason, Syfte, or Sonic, have complained about Fuji lagging, the chatbox lagging, and their computer being slow. Chim also ( along with Sonic ) has a bad virus that keeps attacking his computer. These problems are the reason I give this product a rating of 3/5 stars. To sum it up... Windows XP is a solid operating system. I use Windows Vista, but my dad uses Windows XP, so I got much of this review from being on his computer for a while. Many of these problems, such as lagging and security can be eliminated with the solid checkup of your computer monthly. I would basically recommend this product to anyone who like an easy-to-use, "user-friendly" system and who likes to get to the point of their computer business. -=-=-=- Woah, that was my 6th review.

| Windows XPBackground of the Product: - Spoiler:
Windows XP is an operating system made for the use of personal computers. The program was launched in 2001, and the name was short for "eXPerience". The two major editions of the product include Windows XP Home Edition, and Windows XP Professional, which was designed for the use of businesses. XP is available in the countries of Thailand, Turkey, Indonesia, Russia, India, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Venezuela. It's a good thing it's available in a variety of languages. The newest features added to the system include a faster start-up and hibernation sequence, the ability to discard a newer device driver, a more user-friendly interface, and several more. The user interface is one of the bright parts of Windows XP. Microsoft occasionaly releases service packs, which are collections of updates, fixes, and/or enhancements to a software program. There have been several released for Windows XP. They include service pack 1, 2, 2b, 2c, and 3. So as you can see, there have been many updates for the program, attempting to fix the cons which are shown below.
Cons: - Spoiler:
The main negative feature of Windows XP is the fact that there's many backdoors. Now, this can be used as a positive way. For example, if you're having difficulties logging in to Windows, there's a way to get around it. A backdoor. But, backdoors aren't great for the program itself. It shows the weak link in the system's security. XP is also known for susceptibility to viruses, trojan horses, and worms. Another con of this version of Windows, is the irritating compatibility flaws. An example of this, is when I was using win2k, I checked the compatibility of Windows XP, it didn't show any major issue. But when I upgraded, it said that it wasn't compatible with my modem, which is ridiculous. Although the system is fast, it doesn't change the lack of compatibility and weak security. I've gotten several viruses without downloading any type of software. Also, the lifespan is short, and just like Windows 98 many companies will stop making software available to it. The fact that this operating system doesn't even have a decent photo-editing program, nor a word-editing program even further shows the negative qualities of Windows XP. Since the objective of this review was to focus mainly on the cons of the product, I will not state the positive attributes.
NOTE: Sorry it took so long, I was away, and my computer is broke, so I'm on my sister's shitty one. Hope you enjoyed. EDIT:Oh btw, almost all of you are disqualified xD Read the rules, lmao. EDIT:I don't think staff should enter, because they already have their job.
