Rock is obviously more important than rap. It influenced alot of things. Better rap is better imo. It kinda takes more talent. I know you're gonna argue with that, but it does.

If you mean keeping your voice in tone and all that, yeah. But the thing I don't get with rap is the "music", and I put that in quotations because it isn't, is created by machines, not human interaction with musical instruments. That's why rap doesn't qualify as music.

I think rap is better because you have to rhyme everything. This is much harder than singing/screaming because when you're doing that all you have to do is go with the beat and hit the notes. But when you rap you gotta pronounce the words right so they rhyme, keep your flow up, go with the beat, and if your flow has a melody involved you gotta keep goin with that.

There are other reasons that I'll type when I'm bothered.
