We do it all the time. I've eaten half my lunch in 2nd period before the teacher banned us from having any food.

That is from outside food.. which they can't control.

Depending on the teacher, I can eat food. Not in Spanish or Computers.

'K. Rant time. First off, the school I went to for year 6. My teacher was one of those "frippery" (is that a word?) types - She's always rattle on about her home like for one hour and we'd never get work done. If someone hurt me and I stood up for myself, I got the blame. Eventually one kid got caught throwing things at me, and instead of him getting at the very least a detention, he got off scot free, I got a verbal warning for calling him a shmuck, and when I complained (with my mother, lol), all they gave me for my bruises was an award for being resilient.

My high school... it's not that bad. It's just that the bell always breaks and now we have one that sounds like a church bell and is too soft to hear outside of a classroom, and some of the doors are a terrible colour of orange. Also, my maths teacher is an (insert expletive here). Instead of teaching like a normal person she'll stop, turn away from the board and yell at somebody for sneezing, drinking water, breathing, blinking, etc. I'm not even exaggerating. If I don't understand a concept she'd yell at me for ot paying attention. I cannot grasp her methods of teaching and have resorted to teaching myself.

Me too. Our uniforms suck - Especially in winter where we get in trouble for bringing winter jackets that cost us $20 maximum. The principal constantly reminds us that there are school blazers available. They are close to $300.

Yeah, the whole class gets in trouble for a few people's misdoings. Only 1 person kept swearing, and only 3 or 4 were texting. Does it seem like I should sit in silence for that? Our school is so lame. They stress over the stupidest stuff. They're probably just pissed cause a lot of them might all lose their jobs over the merge and have to find some other low salary commitment.

yeah we can only wear Lamar sweaters its so annoying when its freezing cold outside and we bring real coats and they're like TAKE THEM OFF

I've worn a winter coat all day. No one at my school cares. Now in middle school, different story.

Teachers at my current school understand because they hate the new and improved HVAC system too. It's a mutual hate kind of thing.

We've faced a bit of reform in regards to uniform rules. Now we can only bring stuff like scarves and hats in (to keep us warm cause the school is too cheap to fix the heating and thinks $300 for a jacket is a readonable price) with a medical certificate. -.-

When i walk into my seventh period class, it reeks with the smell of sweat...

we have NO (and i mean absolutely NO) free dress days

we're not allowed to wear shorts..... so now, it's as hot as ever to, walking from, and in school. We only have jeans day.... where we wear jeans ONLY and we have to wear a uniform shirt... have it tucked in...... and wear a belt..... it's like a death trap.....
